Dear PNM’s,

Hi! My name is Marin Weisker, and I am the President of the Panhellenic Council here at The University of Tampa. I am beyond excited that you have chosen to be a part of the Panhellenic Community and begin your journey finding your home away from home!

Some of my most cherished memories at UTampa have been alongside my  sisters and I wouldn’t change those moments for the world. Being a part of a sorority has truly shaped my college experience in the most meaningful way.

I know the Recruitment process can seem overwhelming at times, however I want to offer you a few pieces of advice as you begin this exciting journey. First, keep an open mind. Each chapter holds unique values and traditions while sharing the same foundation of forever friendship and support. Second, reflect on what you are looking for in a sisterhood. Whether that is a space to help you grow academically, an opportunity to lead and serve, or simply a place to give you people to call not only your friends, but your sisters. And finally, trust the process and trust yourself. You will receive guidance along the way, but you are the one who truly knows where your heart belongs.

I hope your recruitment experience at The University of Tampa is as positive and enriching as mine has been. The days might feel long, but take a moment to take in every room, every conversion, and every person along the way. One day you’ll look back on this time and realize just how quickly it passed and how much it meant.

I’m wishing you all nothing but the best. I hope each and every one of you finds a sisterhood that feels like home.

From my heart to yours, welcome home,

Marin
